The Premier's Reading Challenge is BACK BABY!
For all those readers or aspiring readers out there: THIS IS YOUR MOTIVATION! Be rewarded for you efforts and discover new worlds. THIS YEAR not only do you get an amazing in-depth booklist of 8,224 books, you also get not 1, not 2, but 10 books of your own choosing and 5 PRC booklist series books. Although you can read more books from a series by nominating them as your choice books.
Not only do those readers from Years 7, 8 and 9 who read 20 books (10 PRC, 10 choice) get
an official Premier’s Reading Challenge certificate but also a school reading challenge certificate.
And to all those Year 10, 11, 12 (and of course teaches willing to participate) get involved
and see if you can achieve the school reading challenge certificate.

Who Can Participate?
All staff and students are invited to participate. There will be prizes and a reading challenge champion ladder. All participants will receive a LIHS Reading certificate. Students in 7 - 9 will also receive an official PCR certificate upon completing the challenge.

Check out the PCR display in the Library and you'll also see some book features by our LIHS Staff. Ms McLoughlin's is one example (below) revealing the teacher's favourite book, what they're reading next, and their PCR pick!
